Sono state rese note le nomination dei Grammy Awards, i premi più importanti dell'industria musicale americana e non solo. Ottime candidature per Beyoncè (nove), Kendrick Lamr(otto), Adele(sette). Quest'anno hanno pubblicato rispettivamente Reinassance,Mr Morale and the Big Steppers e 30. Tutti e tre gli artisti hanno ricevuto una nomination come album dell'anno accanto ad ABBA,Bad Bunny,Mary j.Blige,Brandy Carlile, Coldplay, Lizzo, Harry Styles. Sorprende la non presenza all'interno delle nomination dell'album di Rosalia (Montomami) uno dei dischi più pop dell'anno. Tuttavia quest'album è presente nella categoria Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album. Taylor Swift ha ricevuto quattro nomination dopo gli EMA Mtv 2022,per quanto riguarda la categoria si va da Elvis Costello a Machine Gun Kelly, passando per Black Keys, Idles, Ozzy Osbourne e Spoon. Tra i nuovi artisti invece non c'e un favorito.
